This JMI Motofocus is for use with those Starlight Instruments Feather Touch 2" Crayford focusers having 1.5", 2", or 2.5" of drawtube travel and built-in brakes. These include the following Astronomics part numbers (with Feather Touch part numbers in parentheses):
The very small and lightweight (under one ounce) Motofocus is shown mounted on a Feather Touch focuser in the image above. The Feather Touch focuser itself does not come with the Motofocus.

The Motofocus consists of a miniature variable speed DC motor, a mounting bracket, a friction drive wheel that turns the Feather Touch fine focus knob, a hand control (not shown), a coiled power cord (partially shown), and all necessary mounting hardware (including the Allen wrenches needed to install the focuser). A Delrin mounting ring is installed on the focuser and held in place by a non-marring ball-headed setscrew (not shown in the image). The motor in its attached mounting bracket are attached to the Delrin ring by two small screws with rubber O-rings on them that act as part of the drive tension system. A rubber O-ring on the Motofocus drive wheel presses on the fine focus knob of the Feather Touch. It turns the focus knob as you push the control buttons on the hand control to rack the focuser in and out. The O-ring acts as a slip clutch to prevent damage if the normal telescope focuser travel is exceeded. The slow motion knob can still be used for manual focusing without removing the motor, with the O-ring acting as a brake when you use the standard Feather Touch focusing knob manually. The motor can be left in place when your scope is not in use.
The coiled cord from the motor plugs into the supplied hand control box. The control box contains a 9-volt battery that will power the focuser for 6 to 8 months of normal use, pushbuttons to control the direction of focuser travel, and a three-position variable rate control that adjusts focusing speed.
